Terms of Use
LLM Prediction Arena is an information and entertainment resource: a public benchmark of language models, published to be watched and read. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a trading platform, and not a financial service of any kind. There is nothing to register for, nothing to deposit and nothing to win. We publish figures we receive from third parties and do not vouch for their accuracy. These terms set out the basis on which you may use the site.
Who operates the Arena
LLM Prediction Arena (the "Arena", "we", "us") is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], registered under number [COMPANY NUMBER] at [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
The Arena is published on this domain and may also be published on mirror domains that serve the same content. These terms apply identically to every domain we operate the Arena on.
What the Arena is — and is not
Fifteen language models from five research labs each receive the same prompt every round, predict the direction of an asset's price over the next few minutes, and open a corresponding trade on their own demo account with virtual funds at [BROKER NAME]. When the round expires, the outcome is read back from that demo account's trade history and published on the leaderboard.
The Arena is therefore, and only, an information and entertainment resource:
- a spectacle — a public scoreboard of how well statistical text models call short-term price direction;
- a free game — you may guess the same direction and compare yourself with the models;
- an educational illustration — of how unreliable such predictions are, including the models' own.
The Arena is not:
- investment advice, a personal recommendation, a trading signal, or a solicitation to trade;
- a broker, dealer, exchange, portfolio manager or payment service;
- a place where you can trade, deposit funds, or win prizes or money;
- a forecast of any price, and not a claim that any model can predict a market;
- a source of reference data — nothing published here is verified, audited or fit to be relied on.
Trading financial instruments carries a high risk of losing your money. The models' results are produced on demo accounts with virtual funds and guarantee nothing on a real account. Nothing on the Arena should be relied on to make a financial decision. See the full disclaimer.
Accepting these terms
By opening or using the Arena you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. Because the Arena has no accounts, your continued use is the only way you can accept them — and closing the page is the only step needed to stop.
Eligibility and age
The Arena is intended for people aged 18 or over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
The Arena is not directed at any person in a country or territory where publishing it, or the promotion of the broker linked from it, would breach local law. You are responsible for whether your use of the site is lawful where you are. We may restrict access from particular territories without notice.
No registration, ever
There is no sign-up, no login and no user account, and none is planned. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details, and there is no facility anywhere on the Arena to give them to us. Everything the site does, it does for an anonymous visitor.
If a page claiming to be the Arena ever asks you to register, deposit or verify your identity, it is not us. Tell us at [legal@DOMAIN].
Your streak and score are stored by your own browser and belong to that browser only. Clearing your browser storage erases them permanently, and we cannot restore them. A pseudonymous random identifier is generated locally so that a round is not scored twice — what it is and how to reset it is described in the Privacy Policy.
"Beat the AI"
The "Beat the AI" panel lets you call the direction of the current round before predictions are revealed, and then shows how many models you beat. It is free and it is a game:
- you stake nothing and can win nothing — there is no entry fee, no prize, no payout and no cash value;
- one call per round, and only while the round is open — the server's clock decides, not your device's;
- we may discard, correct or recalculate results affected by a fault, an interruption or manipulation;
- streaks, scores and seasons may be reset at any time, including when we change how rounds are scored.
It is a demonstration mechanic, not a competition with any promise attached to it. Nothing about it creates an obligation on us to award anything.
Predictions, results and the leaderboard
Model predictions are withheld until the round expires. This is deliberate and enforced on the server: an unexpired prediction is absent from the data the page receives, so it cannot be read early and cannot be used as a trading signal. Do not attempt to circumvent this.
Results shown on the leaderboard are read from the broker's demo account trade history rather than calculated by us. Prices, timings and outcomes may be delayed, restated or withdrawn — for example after a broker data correction, a feed outage or a fault in our own pipeline.
We publish this data as we receive it, without verification, and we make no representation that any of it is accurate, complete, current or free of error. We accept no responsibility or liability for its accuracy, and none for anything you do in reliance on it. See §12.
Which models compete, on which assets, at what round length and stake, and how seasons are scored, are all decisions we may change at any time. Historical results may be recalculated or archived when we do.
Availability and changes
The Arena is provided as it is available. We do not promise any level of uptime and may suspend, interrupt, limit or discontinue all or part of it — including rounds, the leaderboard, individual models or the entire site — at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
Rounds depend on third parties: the broker's platform and price feed, and the providers of the language models. Any of them can fail, rate-limit us or withdraw access, and the Arena will pause when they do.
The broker and our affiliate link
The links on this site to [BROKER NAME] are affiliate links. If you open an account through them we may be paid a commission by the broker. This costs you nothing, and it does not change what the models do or how their results are recorded — but you should know it when you read our description of the broker.
The broker is an independent third party. It is not operated by us and we are not its agent. When you leave the Arena for the broker's site you are subject to its terms, its privacy policy and its regulatory status, none of which we control. Any account you open, any funds you deposit and any trade you place are matters between you and the broker.
The demo account we invite you to open is free and uses virtual funds. Opening one is not a step towards trading with real money, and we do not encourage you to take that step.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to read, infer or reconstruct model predictions before they are revealed;
- submit predictions other than through the site's own interface, or submit them on behalf of automated clients, scripts or multiple synthetic identifiers;
- scrape, harvest or systematically download the Arena's data, or exceed the published rate limits, or otherwise place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- republish or resell the Arena's data as a commercial data product, or present it as a trading signal service, in each case without our written permission;
- probe, scan or test the security of the site, interfere with its operation, or bypass any technical restriction;
- copy, mirror or frame the Arena so as to pass it off as your own, or use it in advertising that promises income, guaranteed returns or a "winning strategy";
- use the Arena for anything unlawful, or in breach of any sanctions or financial-promotion rules that apply to you.
If you want to use Arena data for research, journalism or education, ask us — we would usually say yes, with attribution.
Intellectual property
The Arena's design, code, text, layout and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. You may read, quote and link to the pages; you may not reproduce the site or a substantial part of it without our permission.
Third-party names and marks. Anthropic, OpenAI, Moonshot AI, Alibaba, DeepSeek, the names of their models, and the name and marks of [BROKER NAME] belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify whose model is competing and whose platform the demo trades are placed on — nominative use, not a claim of association.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or in partnership with any of the model labs. They have not reviewed the Arena, have not agreed to take part in it, and are not responsible for how their models are prompted, scored or ranked here.
No warranty, and no responsibility for accuracy
The Arena is provided "as is" and "as available", for information and entertainment only. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations, whether express or implied, including any as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We take no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, reliability or timeliness of any information published on the Arena — prices, model predictions, rationales, outcomes, balances, win rates, rankings, statistics and every figure derived from them.
Much of it originates with third parties — the broker's platform, its price feed, and the providers of the language models — and reaches you unverified. Any of it may be wrong, stale, incomplete, duplicated or missing, and we are under no obligation to correct it, though we usually will.
We therefore do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any figure shown is what the broker's records actually contain, or that model output means anything at all about future prices. Model output is generated text: it can be confidently, fluently and completely wrong.
Do not use the Arena as a source of reference data. Nothing here is audited, reconciled or intended to be relied on for any purpose — least of all a financial one.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of the Arena, including any trading loss, lost profit, lost opportunity or loss of data, and including where the loss follows a decision you made after reading anything published here.
This applies in particular to any loss caused by information on the Arena being inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, unavailable or wrong, whether the error originated with us, with the broker, with a price feed or with a model. You use what is published here at your own risk, and the decision to act on it is yours alone.
We are not liable for the acts or omissions of the broker, the model providers, or any other third party you deal with after leaving the site.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be capped, our total liability to you is limited to [CAP — e.g. EUR 100]. Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights of a consumer.
Indemnity
If you use the Arena in breach of these terms — for example by scraping it, republishing its data as a signal service, or promoting it with claims of income — you agree to indemnify us against the claims, losses and reasonable costs that result.
Suspension of access
We may block access from an IP address, network or device, or refuse to record predictions from it, where we reasonably believe the Arena is being abused, automated, overloaded or manipulated. As there are no accounts, this is a technical measure and not a sanction against a person.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here, and the "last updated" date at the top shows when it changed. Material changes will be summarised at the top of the page for a reasonable period. Using the Arena after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in its courts.
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest continues in force.
